The Capital Pillar

Morehouse School of Medicine has extended its comprehensive IMPACT campaign with a new fundraising goal of $500 million. The second phase of the campaign will bolster three key pillars: Education, Innovation, and Capital.

The Urgent Demand for Growth

Cutting-edge medical school facilities create the competitive advantage needed
to attract the best and brightest students from around the world. Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) aims to develop the talented future health care leaders who can tip the scale in the fight for health equity.

Over the past six years, MSM’s student body has grown by 40% and we project that this number will continue to increase. Not only are we expanding our programs, but in 2024, we expect our incoming MD class to double. We produce 20% of the Black and Brown health- care professionals across the globe — our expansion will only further health equity.

The challenge

Since the pandemic, our growth has already exceeded the physical capacity of our campus.

The solution

We are expanding our campus to advance our mission and accommodate our unprecedented growth.
