Since 1975, Morehouse School of Medicine has focused on educating and graduating the healthcare learners and leaders our nation needs most — those who are committed to serving the underserved. This effort has not gone unnoticed. A national study named MSM as the top medical school for fulfilling the social mission of medical education.

And we get results. The majority of our institution’s alumni serve in primary care, with more than half practicing in underserved communities. That’s more than double the national average.

From an initial entry class of fewer than 25, we have grown our first-year MD class to 100. We are continuing to expand the number of students enrolled in our Master’s and PhD programs. We are adding new degree programs to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare workplace. We are enlarging our Atlanta campus and reaching into other regions of Georgia — and beyond. We are revolutionizing care delivery. And we are connecting with the community to make a difference.
